French IB Enrichment Class students will be watching a movie "La Gloire de Mon Pere"  based on a Marcel Pagnol book.   Students will have a drop day on Tuesday and so will watch this movie all week as it will take three days of class time.   The plot of the film, which is based in Provence, is about a young boy's coming of age.    There will be pre and post discussions of the movie and an in-class writing assignment on Monday  October 17.     NOTE:  Students have been given the option to do an extra credit composition, memorized song, even cooking!  to replace one quiz grade.   This needs to be pre-approved and completed by the end of the week.
