Yarn Balls

Materials:      Rug Yarn (wool/nylon)   
Amount:         8-16 oz  colors may vary
                Twine 2 feet
Instructions:
        -cut two circles out of cardboard 9 inches in diameter.                         -inside the circle cut out a 3 inch hole making a doughnut.
        -tape the two doughnuts together with 2/3 peices of tape.
        -cut the yarn into 10ish foot pieces
        -wrap the yarn ALL around the doughnut even and tightly                         1or2 at a time
        -tie the ends ans beginings together so its one big piece
        -wrap all the yarn around the doughnut until the center                         hole is gone
        -BE CREATIVE IN MIXING UP YOUR COLORS
        
Now you need an adults help

        When the cardboard is evenly and thickly wrapped, cut all the way around the outer edge so that the outer edge consists entirely of loose ends or "cut" ends

        Carefully seperate(slightly) the two cardboard doughnuts-just enough to tie a piece of twine around the middle of all the pieces. THE TWINE NEEDS TO BE TIED TIGHTLY AND KNOTTED GOOD.

        Remove the cardboards. FLUFF up the ball- clip away any of the long pieces.

        HAVE FUN WITH THEM !  !
